2021 BOA Waco Regional Championship
On Saturday, October 30, 2021, the RHB competed in the Bands of America Regional Championship in Waco, TX.
With BOA contests being the extremely competitive, they knew they would be up against some of the best UIL 5A bands in the state. In fact 9 of the bands at BOA Waco had already advanced to UIL State the previous weekend from their respective Areas. After a fabulous performance, they placed 7th in Prelims, advancing to finals and were awarded third place in BOA Class 4A (the largest class)! That night they had another great run placing 9th in Finals and finishing off their season in style.
Bands of America contests set the nationwide standard for band competitions so making finals in their first attempt is virtually unheard of congrats to them! The Blue Hawk bands finishes the season having made Finals at every contest they attended and setting up the program for success in years to come. Thank you to everyone that supported us!
