2023 UIL Area Competition
On Saturday, October 21st, 2023, the Rock Hill Blue Hawk Band competed in the UIL Area competition with a chance to advance to State. They had made it to the Area contest by earning a first division rating at the Region 24 contest the week before and would be competing against the best 6A bands in our Area.
The band had two fantastic performances at the one of the toughest Area contest in the State and the students and staff were ecstatic to advance to finals. While we all had hopes of advancing to State, placing 12th among this group of bands was a proud moment for the 2023 Rock Hill Marching Band.
We look forward to building upon these impressive achievements as our band continues to grow and develop.
