2023 BOA North Texas Regional & UIL Region
On Saturday, October 14th, 2023, the Rock Hill Band competed in the Bands of America North Texas Regional hosted at their own Children’s Health Stadium in Prosper, TX and the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region competition in Little Elm.
It was a tremendous day all around for Prosper ISD Bands with all three bands placing within their class!
The Rock Hill Band had another amazing day of performances, including three solid runs that improved each time.
We are proud to announce the following accomplishments:
- 6th Place in BOA Prelims
- Class AAA – 2nd place
- Straight First Divisions at UIL Region, advancing to 6A Area C contest next weekend
- 6th Place in BOA Finals
While all of these results are phenomenal for such a young program, it is the shared memories the kids are making with each other that will last a lifetime. The sense of accomplishment after a great show is evident on their faces and the high-fives we get exiting the field. It makes all that work in the heat worth it!
