Mid-Winter Concert

Monday Feb 8, 6:30 pm, RHHS Auditorium

We’re excited to preview some of ourUIL music with each of our three Ensembles Monday night. Please be aware of the timeline below. Bring your uniform to school and a snack if you do not have time to go home and still be on time and ready to warm–upat

5:30 pm.

The attire is Formal Concert Uniform…you must provide black dress shoes & socks for tuxes or black flats for dresses.

8:00 am – Wind Symphony SLT & Percussion arrive to set-up stage

8:35 am – Wind Symphony Rehearsal begins on stage (as will each class)

4:05 pm – Pick–up your hemmed uniform from the racks if you haven’t already!

5:30 pm – Call Timefor all three ensembles (leave cases in lockers)

• Wind Symphony – Band Hall

• Symphonic Band – lined up in hallway in arcs

• Concert Band – on Stage

6:15 pm – Wind Sym & Symphonic Band file into Auditorium seats up front

6:30 pm – Concert Begins

7:45–8:00pm – Concert concludes

With the Concert Monday and the directors leaving for TMEA this week, there will be NO before/after school Sectionals or Ensemble rehearsalsthis week. Thu & Fri in class will be Study Hall only.Regular sectionals will resume Mon, Feb 14.
