All Region Results
Congratulations to our 29 RHB students who made the All-Region Band!
Several performed with the All-Region Orchestra this past weekend. All of these students will participate in the Region Band Clinic & Concert on Thu & Fri, Jan 13-14 at several McKinney schools. Detailed was included in their music folder.
We also had 13 students advance on the Area contest on Sat, Jan 8 with a chance to make the TMEA All-State Band. Those totals tied us for 4th most making the Region Band and 3rd most making Area. It is no coincidence that the strongest marching bands in our Region also had the most students making Region/Area.
We hope to continue to improve those numbers next year with more students in private lessons. Please wish our Area students luck as they continue to refine their etudes over the break.
