Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is Rock Hill High School’s second performing wind ensemble classified as UIL Non-Varsity and is typically composed of equal parts upperclassmen and freshmen.

Students place into the Symphonic Band by embracing the expectations listed below and through their spring audition.

To audition into the Symphonic Band, students must show excellent preparation on the audition material as well as a desire to develop and improve their fundamentals, the most important of which is characteristic tone quality across the range of their instrument.
